isetta haiku
I know, I know: It's a cliche to have haiku about one's passion on the Web (go here to read on SPAM). But somebody had to do it for Isettas, and it may as well be me. For the unwashed, haiku is a japanese form of poetry that consists of (in its American standard form) 17 syllables arrayed in 3 lines:

5 syllables in the first line
7 syllables in the second line
and 5 syllables in the third line.

An example:

counting syllables
feels like i'm back in sixth grade
rather drink a beer

Serious examples (in varied forms) exist here.

I've written (yay, composed!) some Isetta haiku below as a starter. So wipe the grease from  your hands, contemplate the beauty and serentity of the Isetta, and put your thoughts to paper in the form of a haiku (in the American standard form described above). Oh, and send it to me so I can post it here for others to enjoy...

Wife was NOT happy
But the kids are
So who would care
As we stand and stare
At our brand new bubble car!
You can get six isettas in a two car garage!

I just fixed the red one    It's not enough
On to another, more money down the drain
